Wall and ceiling lining materials
Dahlsens partners with Gyprock to supply quality plasterboard sheets direct to the trade. Gyprock plasterboard is lightweight and suitable for both residential and commercial applications. Made from gypsum, non-toxic additives and featuring a paper liner made from 100% recycled materials, Gyprock plasterboard is an attractive option for your eco-conscious clients.
Gyprock Plus plasterboard sheets
For a lightweight, premium solution, Gyprock Plus is thinner and stronger than your average plasterboard sheets. Measuring in at a slim 10mm, Gyprock Plus utilises Optimised Core technology to provide greater breaking strength and an improved handling experience. This option is ideal for residential walls and ceilings with standard 450mm joist centres, and is available in a maximum size of 1350mm x 6000mm.
Gyprock HD plasterboard sheets
When heavy-duty calls, Gyprock HD has you covered. Featuring a high-density core and heavy-duty liner paper providing enhanced impact and acoustic performance, Gyprock HD is the perfect premium upgrade for residential walls and ceilings.
HD is ideal for use in residential walls and ceilings, particularly in those areas subject to high traffic such as corridors, hallways, rumpus and games rooms, mud rooms and children’s bedrooms. When installed in ceilings of multi-storey homes, Gyprock HD can also reduce noise levels between floors.
Gyprock Aquachek plasterboard sheets
For internal linings requiring strong moisture resistance, Gyprock Aquachek is a reliable option. Available in both 10mm and 13mm thickness profiles, Aquachek plasterboards core, face and back are treated to provide humidity and moisture resistant properties without compromising its integrity. Available in sizes up to 1350mm x 6000mm, Aquachek is suitable for both residential and commercial builds. Aquachek is best utilised in areas such as laundries, bathrooms and change rooms.
Cornices
The right cornice helps achieve a touch of sophistication and style to your build. Installing plasterboard over timber framing without an adequate gap can cause cracking due to the timber expanding and contracting. Plaster cornices are a cost-effective option to hide this gap and provide an aesthetically pleasing transition between wall and ceiling.

With termite resistance and being certified for bracing, the flat surface is perfect for walls, flooring underlay and more. An all-round bracing-certified product designed to excel in a range of construction and manufacturing applications. Perfectly suited for both wall and ceiling installations, as well as timber flooring underlay, offering durability.

James Hardie Villaboard
A robust solution for bathrooms, laundries and other wet areas, James Hardie Villaboard is resistant to fire, termites, rot and moisture.
This fibre cement interior wall cladding is more substantial than plasterboard and able to comfortably support heavier hooks and fixings when compared to traditional plasterboard sheeting. Tiles up to 60kg/m2 can be installed on Villaboard, providing peace of mind for builds with weighty tiling.
Fibre cement solutions are ideal for safety conscious clients or those living in bushfire prone areas. Villaboard sheetings have a fire rating up to 60 minutes (when used in conjunction with HardieSmart wall systems).
Installation of Villaboard sheeting is fast and simple. Gun-nail installation is suitable for timber frame builds, and screws can be used to install the sheets onto light gauge steel frames.
Villaboard sheeting is available in a range of sizes including:
- Thicknesses of 6mm or 9mm
- Lengths of 1800mm to 3000mm
- Widths of 1200mm to 1350mm
