With up to 75 per cent more impact resistance, the new Gyprock HD is a great choice for high-traffic areas.
As Australia’s leading plasterboard manufacturer, CSR Gyprock has proudly been at the forefront of product innovation and performance for more than 75 years. During this time, Australian building and construction trends have evolved and the demand for greater efficiencies across installation, delivery, energy use and sustainability is now stronger than ever. CSR Gyprock continuously strives to develop products that are long-lasting, keep up with trends and meet the needs of installers, builders, architects, designers and end users.
The latest innovation in the Gyprock Residential Plasterboard range is Gyprock HD — the perfect premium upgrade for walls and ceilings. This versatile new 10mm board is manufactured with a high-density core and a heavy-duty liner paper to provide enhanced acoustic properties and impact resistance that stands the test of time.
While the popular Gyprock Plus board is known for its everyday durability, Gyprock HD is tested and proven to provide up to 75 per cent more impact resistance to soft and hard body impacts such as dents and scrapes from furniture, toys and school bags.
A true all-rounder, Gyprock HD also provides a reduction in sound transmission between adjoining spaces, such as rumpus and games rooms, corridors and children’s bedrooms. Compared to walls lined with standard 10mm plasterboard, Gyprock HD’s denser core creates a more comfortable, quieter environment for homeowners. For this reason, it is also ideal for use in the Gyprock Party Wall system and other Gyprock systems.
In keeping with CSR Gyprock’s commitment to sustainability, Gyprock HD is formulated to contain 10 per cent recycled content.
