Dahlsens have expanded even further in the Riverina area with the acquisition of Deniliquin Mitre 10.
Previous co-owners of Deni Mitre 10, Alan Braybon and Katrina Knuckey, believed Dahlsens was the ideal choice to carry the business forward, with Alan now enjoying a well-earned retirement and Katrina staying on as manager. The team will also stay on as Katrina continues to lead and oversee a seamless transition.
Dahlsens is already well established and familiar with the Deniliquin community, having serviced local builders and trades for more than 30 years from the Barham Road trade store site. Like Dahlsens, Deni Mitre 10 has also served the local community for over three decades, and similarly is committed to going the extra mile for customers and providing choice and opportunities.
Under the banner of Dahlsens Mitre 10, the store will continue to operate from the existing Hardinge Street site in Deniliquin. It will also continue to enjoy the benefits of the comprehensive buying and marketing structure of Mitre 10 following the acquisition taking effect on 15 November 2023. Customers can expect business as usual and continuation of the popular Mighty Rewards customer loyalty program.
Dahlsens trade store in Barham Road will operate as usual focusing on trade customers under the expert leadership of branch manager Doug Miller.
Dahlsens CEO, Geoff Dahlsen, expressed gratitude to Alan and Katrina for entrusting his family with their business and team.
“We commend their leadership and commitment to the Deniliquin community. Our utmost priority is to honour and strengthen the foundation they have laid,” said Geoff.
The Riverina now have an with an even stronger and more comprehensive family-run hardware offering, and can enjoy uninterrupted and enhanced service well into the future.
