In 2019 Dahlsens launched a golf tournament that set new standards for golf events in the building industry. The Dahlsens Golf Classic, a golden ticket invite-only event gathering both competitive and ‘hit for giggle’ golfing customers, staff and suppliers. Good fun being the key objective, participants were matched up in teams to play in qualifying rounds at the best golf courses in Echuca, Albury Wodonga, Traralgon, Melbourne, Wagga Wagga, Swan Hill and Ballarat.
In 2019 The Dahlsens Golf Classic culminated in a very special final held in May, with the winners of each of the 7 qualifying rounds battling it out at the prestigious sandbelt Yarra Yarra Golf Course in Melbourne. The competitive spirit soared amidst the luxurious surrounds of this incredible course and it came down to the very last hole to identify the winning team – Team Traralgon who were rewarded with their efforts with a breathtaking golf trip to the world-renowned Barnbougle Dunes Golf Links, Tasmania and the prestigious title of Dahlsens Golf Classic Champions 2019. Unfortunately the 2020 Final had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
