Many adhesives may look and feel similar, however not all are up to the task. To help you get the job done, it’s important to know which technology and type is best suited to the project.
Polyurethane sealants (PUs) have been around forever. They are a well proven, hard wearing and cost-effective solution for any project and are mostly used in industrial and commercial situations.
Advantages of Polyurethane sealants
- Excellent adhesion
- Weather and UV resistant
- Chemical resistance to salt water, grease, oils, fuels, detergents, mildew, weak acids and alkalis
- More flexible than hybrid polymer sealants and silicone
- Excellent tear and abrasion resistance
- Paintable
