Requirement
Walls of Shower area must be waterproof not less than 1800mm above the floor substrate. In addition, as per AS3740-2021,
- 50mm area above the shower rose needs to be waterproofed

NCC 10.2.12 Construction of Wet Area Floors – Falls
Requirement
For creating falls, the performance requirement is that water is directed to the outlet and does not puddle which can adversely affect the health and amenity of the occupants or can deteriorate the building elements
Where a floor waste is required:
- The minimum continuous fall of a floor plane to the waste must be 1:80
- The maximum continuous fall of a floor plane to the waste must be 1:50
- The entire wet area floor must be waterproofed
